As followers of YESHUA (Jesus Christ), we believe that every child is a precious gift from YAHWEH (God) and the greatest calling of a parent is to lead their children to know, love, and follow Him. Child dedication is a public declaration that a family is choosing to place their child in YAH’s hands from the beginning, committing to raise them according to His Word and His ways. This special moment is not only about dedicating the child—it is a dedication of the entire family. Parents commit to being YESHUA-centered examples, grandparents and loved ones commit to faithfully encourage the child in their walk with YAHWEH (God), and the church family commits to pray, support, and help nurture their spiritual growth. Following the example of YESHUA (Jesus Christ), who welcomed and blessed children (Mark 10:13–16), we believe there is great value in dedicating children early, inviting YAH’s blessing, wisdom, and direction over their lives while establishing a foundation of faith that points them to YESHUA (Jesus Christ) for generations to come. Together, we celebrate this sacred commitment, trusting the promise that “As for me and my house, we will serve YAHWEH” (Joshua 24:15).
